Terms of Service

The service

ByteAsk is an AI coding agent for the terminal provided by ByteAsk, Inc. ("ByteAsk"). It edits code in your repositories and verifies changes using compilers, sanitizers, debuggers, and tests.

Accounts

You sign in with a magic link sent to your email. You are responsible for the security of your email account and of the device that holds your ByteAsk token.

Acceptable use

• Use the service only for lawful purposes and on code you have the right to work with.
• Do not attempt to access other users’ data, probe or overload the service, or circumvent usage limits.

Your code and outputs

Your code remains yours. You grant ByteAsk the limited right to process it solely to provide the service, consistent with the Privacy Policy.

Generated code is a draft that ByteAsk verifies with tools, but you are responsible for reviewing changes before you ship them.

Credits and beta

Beta credits are granted at our discretion and have no cash value. The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and may change or be interrupted during the beta.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByteAsk is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
